Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into complete systems
  • Conduct simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate designs
  • Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product design and development

Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) and simulation tools
  • Strong experience in designing for mass manufacturing of plastic and sheet metal components
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, mechanical QA and tolerance stackup analysis
  • Experience designing for outdoor environments
  • Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles
  • Experience with hands on prototyping, testing, and validation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
