Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into complete systems
- Conduct simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate designs
- Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product design and development
Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) and simulation tools
- Strong experience in designing for mass manufacturing of plastic and sheet metal components
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, mechanical QA and tolerance stackup analysis
- Experience designing for outdoor environments
- Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles
- Experience with hands on prototyping, testing, and validation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
