As a member of the Business Technology Collaboration Applications team at Guidewire, the Sr. Collaboration applications administrator/developer will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our intranet and supporting various collaboration tools. This position requires a versatile professional who can seamlessly transition between high-level strategic design, application administration, and hands-on development work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering, developing, and maintaining the company intranet
- Supporting collaboration applications such as Slack, Atlassian stack (including Jira), Smartsheet, and Miro
- Troubleshooting application-related issues
- Collaborating with team members to identify and implement improvements
- Ensuring all functional and technical requirements are met
- Providing technical support and guidance
- Coordinating with the product management team
- Aligning applications with overall business and operations objectives
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years of experience in Python and JavaScript development
- Experience with Lumapps administration (a plus)
- A Bachelor's degree
- Comfort working UK shifts
- Willingness to learn new technologies like Atlassian Status Page and Jira Product Discovery
