Consultant Developer Intern

Guidewire is offering a 6-month Guidewire Basecamp internship program from February through July 2025, designed for active undergraduate college students or those registered in a masters' program. This internship provides an opportunity to work in a real-world business environment, learning how to interact with customers, solve complex problems, and help create software used by some of the largest Insurance companies globally.

As part of the Professional Services Team in Malaysia, interns will work directly with the team to develop and implement software solutions for business needs. You'll work with a dedicated mentor and other interns on a software project that adds value to Guidewire's mission.

The internship offers exposure to Agile development practices, including iterative development, breaking features into stories, working in priority order, and encouraging pair programming. Guidewire focuses on creating high-quality software for customers and delivering it on time, with a significant emphasis on software development as a craft.

Interns will collaborate with teammates, mentors, and stakeholders while learning what it means to be a professional consultant developer. The internship is located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring office presence 2 days per week.
