Software Engineer III

Guidewire, a leading platform for P&C insurers, is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Data platform and Analytics team. This role is perfect for passionate individuals with experience in building large-scale multi-tenant cloud-native data platforms and analytics SaaS services.

As a Software Engineer III, you'll be at the forefront of developing Guidewire's cloud-native data platform and analytics SaaS offerings. The platform is designed to support all analytics, data science, and data applications, aiming to be best-in-class in enabling customers with mission-critical insights and decision-making capabilities.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing cloud-native data platforms, building large-scale real-time stream processing systems, and owning the CI/CD pipeline for your services. You'll be hands-on coding more than 90% of the time, working in a highly collaborative environment to build next-generation platforms and services.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience, strong Java programming skills, and experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of modern frontend technologies like Angular or React.js is required. Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed systems concepts is a plus.
