Technical Solutions (Solutions Engineer), Gusto Embedded

Gusto Embedded Payroll is an API based product that enables software developers to embed and customize payroll directly into their software. As part of the Technical Solutions team, you will be responsible for end-to-end technical success of a Partner building embedded payroll. You will work closely with our internal Engineering, Product, and Business teams to support our Partners throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire Partners by guiding them in designing and building with Gusto's API products
• Lead technical success of Partners by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Drive Partners' product development as a key workstream
• Diagnose Partner challenges and present recommendations
• Be the first point of contact for technical issues related to Embedded APIs
• Build tools and systems to scale the Technical Solutions function

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 1+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in a role focused on driving the success of external customers
• Strong problem-solving skills and product sense
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with APIs and technical project management
• Knowledge of payroll software and/or Vertical SaaS is a plus

Gusto offers a competitive salary range of $124,000/yr to $186,000/yr depending on location and experience. The company has a hybrid work model, expecting employees to work from the office 2-3 days per week.
