Ruby/Rails Product Infrastructure Engineer

Gusto, a modern people platform serving over 300,000 small businesses nationwide, is seeking a Senior Ruby/Rails Product Infrastructure Engineer to join their Developer Productivity team. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity through core language and framework improvements.

As a member of the Product Infrastructure team, you'll be at the forefront of improving developer tools, systems, and organizational processes. The position requires deep expertise in Ruby/Rails development, with opportunities to work on architecture, tooling, and developer experience improvements. You'll collaborate with various teams across Gusto, from product engineering to data science and operations.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $165,000 to $220,000 depending on location, plus equity. Gusto maintains a hybrid work environment with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Denver, requiring 2-3 days of office presence per week.
