GWI, a leading consumer research platform, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Business Data Engineering Team in Athens. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a platform that represents data from nearly 3 billion people across 52+ countries. As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in enhancing the Business Data Platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions. The position requires expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data stack technologies, with a focus on building robust data pipelines and implementing data governance practices. Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Proven experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer with strong project delivery track record
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines
  • Experience with BigQuery, Airflow, and dbt or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge of software development best practices including Git
  • Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure concepts
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of data governance practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
