Staff Software Engineer, PTaaS

HackerOne, the global leader in human-powered security, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Pentest product team. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, working with one of the world's most vibrant security researcher communities. The position involves leading challenging projects while collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Principal Engineers to build and enhance the HackerOne Pentest product, recently recognized as a leader in GigaOm's PTaaS Radar report.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll leverage your broad technological expertise and deep domain knowledge to drive technical initiatives and improvements across the codebase. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies while building features for both security researchers and enterprise clients. HackerOne's platform combines human expertise with AI to provide comprehensive security solutions for major organizations including Coinbase, General Motors, GitHub, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
