Hadrian is revolutionizing aerospace and defense manufacturing through autonomous factories, backed by over $200M in funding from top-tier investors like Lux Capital, A16Z, and Founders Fund. As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll be a foundational member of the engineering team building Flow, their FactoryOS platform that powers their next-generation manufacturing facilities.
The role involves architecting and implementing mission-critical applications that manage factory operations - from customer quote generation to work distribution and supply chain management. You'll work directly with customers, product teams, and factory operators to build robust systems that make manufacturing 10x faster and 2x cheaper.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience building production backend services, preferably in Go, Python, or Node.js. While aerospace/manufacturing experience isn't required, you should be passionate about complex systems and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where your code directly impacts physical manufacturing operations.
The position offers competitive compensation ($150K-$250K), equity in a well-funded startup, and comprehensive benefits. Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be US citizens, permanent residents, or otherwise eligible to work on ITAR-controlled projects. The role is based in their Los Angeles factory location, where you'll work alongside world-class engineers and manufacturing experts building the future of American manufacturing.
