Description For Computational Geometry Software Engineer

Hadrian is revolutionizing the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry by building autonomous factories that deliver rockets, jets, and satellites with unprecedented efficiency - 10x faster and 2x cheaper. Backed by over $200M in funding from prestigious investors including Lux Capital, A16Z, and Founders Fund, we're on a mission to transform manufacturing infrastructure.

As a Computational Geometry Software Engineer, you'll be integral to developing Copilot, our sophisticated CAD/CAM automation suite. This role combines deep technical expertise in computational geometry with practical manufacturing process automation. You'll work on cutting-edge solutions for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, CAM programming, and CMM programming, collaborating with industry experts to identify and implement high-impact automation opportunities.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $235,000, comprehensive benefits including full medical coverage, and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology. You'll be part of a dynamic team using technologies like C++, Open Cascade, and various CAD/CAM tools, while also having the chance to expand into full-stack development with Python, TypeScript, and React.

This role is perfect for someone who combines strong technical skills with a passion for solving complex manufacturing challenges. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of aerospace and defense manufacturing while working with some of the industry's best operators. The position requires a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, making it ideal for those who enjoy both deep technical work and seeing their solutions deployed in real-world manufacturing environments.
