As a Computational Geometry Software Engineer, you'll be working on Copilot, our suite of CAD/CAM automation software. This role combines challenging computational geometry problems with practical manufacturing automation. You'll be at the forefront of developing solutions for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, CAM programming, and CMM programming.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while collaborating with some of the best operators in the industry. You'll be involved in full-stack development, applications engineering, and complex computational geometry challenges. The role requires a strong technical background, particularly in computational geometry, but encourages versatility and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities For Computational Geometry Software Engineer

  • Design, spec, and build software to automate precision manufacturing process
  • Focus on computational geometry related algorithms and applications
  • Engage in product discovery with manufacturing and software experts
  • Monitor software performance, usage, and product feedback
  • Create and maintain integrations with internal systems and external engineering software
  • Mentor engineers in computational geometry

Requirements For Computational Geometry Software Engineer

Python
TypeScript
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in CS, Math, and/or Physics
  • Experience with C++, Open Cascade, CAD/CAM/CMM Software
  • Experience with Python, TypeScript, C#, React, web technologies
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software or CAD/CAM app development
  • Working understanding of GD&T and/or mechanical design
  • Experience in manufacturing, generative design, video games, graphics, 3d printing, robotics, or aerospace
