After a successful customer beta phase, we are substantially scaling our operations to our second factory (based in Torrance) and are in the final stretch of building our core software engineering and product team from whom the future of Hadrian will be built upon.
As a Controls Engineer at Hadrian, you will be part of the team developing 0-1 automation solutions to supercharge the efficiency and capabilities of our CNC machines. You'll focus on developing novel solutions for automated probing validation, machine calibration, in-process control, tool laser measurement, breakage detection, tool life, offsets, and origins.
Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate should have experience with macro programming for Fanuc and/or Heidenhain, CNC machine operation, software coding, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of various machine types, materials, tooling application, workholding, and fixture design is essential.
Additional valuable skills include experience with PLC programming, software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or robotics. Familiarity with hyperMILL, Heidenhain, Fanuc, NX, machining Inconel or Titanium, and macro programming is highly desirable.
