The InfoSec Engineer role is a critical position within their security organization, responsible for protecting vital infrastructure and ensuring compliance across their cutting-edge manufacturing facilities. The position combines hands-on technical security work with strategic thinking, requiring expertise in various security domains including Zero Trust Architecture, container security, and cloud-native security principles.

The role involves managing complex security systems, from IAM and endpoint protection to PKI infrastructure and compliance frameworks like NIST 800-171 and CMMC. You'll work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and production teams, implementing security controls that protect both traditional and cloud environments while maintaining the agility needed in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities For InfoSec Engineer

  • Configure, monitor and manage Security Logging Infrastructure
  • Administer and manage IAM systems including Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta
  • Deploy and manage endpoint protection systems
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement patch management processes
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain PKI infrastructure
  • Lead security analysis and risk mitigation
  • Maintain and enforce compliance requirements for NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ITAR
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams on security controls
  • Document security processes and incident response procedures
  • Provide Tier 3 support for security-related issues
  • Deploy and maintain secure SaaS configurations
  • Educate and train employees on secure practices
  • Design and maintain network security policies

Requirements For InfoSec Engineer

Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture
  • Advanced knowledge of container security for Kubernetes
  • Experience with threat detection and response workflows
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native security principles
  • Proficiency with advanced forensics tools
  • Experience with hardware security for embedded systems
