Hydraulics and Hydrology Engineer

H&H, a prestigious infrastructure engineering firm with over 138 years of experience, is seeking a Hydraulics and Hydrology Engineer for their Austin, TX office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Hydraulics & Hydrology with a focus on TXDOT projects. This role offers an opportunity to lead significant engineering initiatives, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage system design, and bridge/culvert studies. The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering and a Texas PE license.

Key responsibilities include leading design projects, managing resources, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with project partners. The role demands expertise in various technical software including HEC-RAS, HY-8, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The successful candidate will be involved in environmental compliance, technical documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
