Description For DevOps Engineer

Harbor Lab is an innovative B2B software startup transforming the shipping industry through cutting-edge solutions. Recently recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in 2022 & 2023, we're seeking a Mid/Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team.

The role combines both DevOps and Development responsibilities, working with modern technologies including AWS, Terraform/CDK, Kubernetes, Gitlab Pipelines, Java/Node.js, LLMs, and various databases. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing next-generation products while supporting internal tech teams.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll manage AWS infrastructure, maintain Kubernetes clusters, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to data engineering projects. The position requires strong experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and microservices development. We're looking for candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience, though you don't need to be an expert in everything - we value strong capabilities in key areas combined with a great attitude.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Setup/reconfigure/maintain AWS Infra via Terraform & CDK
  • Maintain/update k8s clusters and Gitlab Pipelines
  • Collaborate with QA/SET team for automated testing in Pipelines
  • Coordinate with Product Team for new features infrastructure needs
  • Work with Support Team to troubleshoot production issues
  • Assist Dev Teams with releasing/deploying/troubleshooting Platform
  • Enable AI/ML team by contributing in Data Engineering projects
  • Implement standalone backend services
  • Maintain/Extend Monitoring Solutions

Requirements For DevOps Engineer

  • At least 3 years experience in Public Clouds
  • Experience with IaC
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience running build pipelines
  • Experience with Monitoring
  • Experience in Microservice Software Development

  • Terraform, CDK knowledge (plus)
