Android Engineer

Haystack News, a rapidly growing Silicon Valley startup, is seeking an Android Engineer to join their innovative team. The role involves developing the Haystack News app across Android Mobile, Android TV, and Fire TV devices, working directly with the founding team comprised of Stanford & Carnegie Mellon alumni and faculty. You'll be responsible for building engaging features, implementing the latest Android development trends, and using Clean Architecture to maintain and improve the codebase.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer with 3+ years of experience who is passionate about news delivery and mobile development. You'll be working with modern technologies including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, while helping to shape the future of news consumption on connected devices.
