Electrical Engineer

Hellas Gold S.A., a subsidiary of Eldorado Gold Corporation, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for their Skouries mining facility in Chalkidiki, Greece. The company operates gold, silver, lead, and zinc mines, continuing a 25-century mining history in the region. The Electrical Engineer will report to the Head of Processing and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the facility's electrical systems. This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring both hands-on experience and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining safe maintenance practices, managing the electrical maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with Greek regulations and Eldorado Gold standards.

Key focus areas include implementing Best Practice Operating Systems, developing Technical Standards, managing maintenance KPIs, and contributing to asset management strategies. The role requires a strong background in industrial electrical systems, preferably in mining or heavy industry, with demonstrated experience in predictive and preventive maintenance.
