Instrumentation & Automation Engineer

Hellas Gold S.A., a subsidiary of Eldorado Gold Corporation, is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for their Skouries mining facility in Chalkidiki, Greece. This role reports to the Head of Processing and is crucial for maintaining and improving the automation systems of the mining operation.

The company has a rich history of over 25 centuries in mining and is currently operating three major mining projects: Stratoni-Mavres Petres Mine, Olympias Mine, and Skouries Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the instrumentation and automation maintenance team, implementing safety protocols, and managing complex automation systems. They will play a key role in developing and implementing technical standards, managing KPIs, and contributing to the overall asset management strategy.

The position requires a strong technical background in automation and control systems, including experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networks. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate both technical expertise and leadership capabilities, as they will be managing a team and implementing best practices across the operation.
