Hellas Gold S.A., a subsidiary of Eldorado Gold Corporation, is seeking a Process Maintenance Planning Engineer for their Skouries location in Greece. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving the maintenance operations of the company's processing facilities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining safe maintenance practices, managing the maintenance planning department, and implementing best practice management systems. They will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal equipment performance, budget management, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a culture of safety and personal responsibility
- Developing and implementing maintenance technical standards
- Planning and scheduling shutdowns and downtimes
- Managing the growth and development of maintenance planning personnel
- Assisting with asset management strategy and equipment lifecycle management
- Administering the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Generating maintenance equipment performance reports
- Assisting in the preparation and management of maintenance budgets
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas, Mining, or Heavy Industry
- Strong knowledge of CMMS and Reliability Asset Management Systems
- Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Fluency in both Greek and English

Responsibilities For Process Maintenance Planning Engineer
- Maintain a culture of safety and personal responsibility
- Establish safe maintenance practices and systems
- Manage the maintenance planning department
- Implement Best Practice Management Operating System
- Assist with development of Maintenance Technical Standards
- Coordinate with Asset Integrity Head
- Plan and schedule shutdowns and downtimes
- Manage growth and development of maintenance planning personnel
- Assist with Asset Management strategy
- Participate in audits of maintenance management programmes
- Ensure optimal resourcing and prioritization of work orders
- Maintain Equipment Downtime Register
- Develop and maintain Job Standards and Application Parts Lists
- Generate maintenance equipment performance reports
- Assist in preparation of annual maintenance budget
- Administer Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Update maintenance procedures and schedule training
- Conduct time motion studies of maintenance functions
- Review Notifications and open work orders in CMMS
- Act as Supervisor during major shutdown operations
Requirements For Process Maintenance Planning Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Maintenance Qualification
- Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Reliability Asset Management Systems
- Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance principles
- 10+ years experience as an Engineer in Oil and Gas, Mining or Heavy Industry
- Plant Maintenance background
- Plant Commissioning and Ramp-up experience (asset)
- Strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills
- Business and Financial acumen
- Organizational and team leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Driving License
