Senior JVM Engineer

Help Scout is seeking a Senior JVM Engineer to join their AI Services team. As a member of this team, you'll work with Kotlin to develop high-quality and scalable systems that harness the power of AI for customers. The role involves abstracting AI concerns away from product teams to enable them to build delightful products on top of APIs. You'll collaborate with JVM, JavaScript, and PHP Engineers, project and product managers, and designers within an engineering team of about 50 people. Key responsibilities include participating in implementation decisions, code reviews, architectural decisions, and making data-driven improvements to systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java and Spring Boot, be passionate about the JVM ecosystem, and comfortable with high traffic volumes. Strong communication skills, adaptability to remote work, and alignment with Help Scout's values are essential.
