Responsibilities For Principal Avionics Electrical Engineer

  • Shape the future of commercial supersonic and hypersonic flight
  • Design, test, and integrate GNC systems, electrical hardware, control software, power distribution, and RF communications
  • Design and test custom electrical systems for ground test and flight applications
  • Ensure seamless integration and compatibility of designs at sub-system and integrated system level
  • Work across disciplines to create control and instrumentation systems for engine, structural, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Requirements For Principal Avionics Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, control systems, instrumentation and signal conditioning, digital communication busses, analog design and simulation, power electronics, harness design
  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or similar disciplines (preferred)
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical design software
  • Experience with avionics devices and protocols
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards
  • Experience with DC power systems
  • Ability to travel on short notice
  • Must be a U.S. person or eligible for deemed export licensing
