As our Senior Mechanisms Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our Vehicle & Mechanisms Team, leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems critical to our high-speed aircraft projects. You'll be responsible for everything from initial design concepts to final implementation, working with cutting-edge aerospace technology.

You'll lead mechanical system design, conduct advanced analysis, oversee prototyping and testing, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities For Senior Mechanisms Engineer
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, mechanisms, and components for aerospace applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives
- Conduct detailed mechanical analysis, including stress analysis, fatigue, and kinematics
- Oversee the prototyping and testing of mechanical systems and mechanisms
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for components
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design specifications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies
Requirements For Senior Mechanisms Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanisms engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools
- Experience with FEA analysis and simulation software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62
