Heroic Story is seeking a Founding AI Engineer for Plotdrive, their innovative Author OS platform. This unique role combines the art of storytelling with advanced AI engineering, aimed at creating the next evolution in narrative creation.

The ideal candidate should have a dual background as both an author and an AI systems engineer. You'll be working on building an intelligent engine that understands narrative at its deepest level, moving beyond simple LLM wrappers to create something truly revolutionary in the storytelling space.

Founded by the Rosenkrantz brothers, who bring experience from VR gaming, Twitch streaming, and Hollywood, the company is backed by leading entertainment and technology investors. The team consists of 5 members and is based in Los Angeles, though remote work is possible.

Key responsibilities include building systems that understand story structure, creating real-time generation of contextual creative assets, and scaling a story graph that becomes more powerful with each narrative. The role requires someone who can make complex technology invisible while making its magic accessible.
