Hexagon US Federal, an independent subsidiary of Hexagon Corporation, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while serving the US Federal government sector. The position involves managing and enhancing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, maintaining Docker images, and ensuring software security.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, working with technologies like Linux, OpenShift, and GitLab. The role requires a strong background in cloud engineering, with expertise in AWS and containerization technologies. You'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving the continuous integration and delivery processes.

The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in Python and various scripting languages, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The position requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

  • Maintain and enhance forty GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain Docker images
  • Track software version updates
  • Resolve detected software vulnerabilities
  • Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Bridge the gap between development and operations teams
  • Respond to monitoring tools results
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain and create Docker images for program microservices
