GIS Frontend Developer

Hexagon US Federal, an independent subsidiary of Hexagon Corporation, is seeking a GIS Frontend Developer to join their Cartographic Web Services (CWS) Team in Huntsville, AL. This role combines frontend development with geographic information systems, working on a proven solution for rapid production of cartographic products. The position involves both maintaining existing web frontend and developing next-generation user experiences using modern web technologies.

The CWS product is utilized by national mapping agencies for producing series-based maps for military and humanitarian missions, leveraging over 30 years of research and development. As a developer, you'll collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to design and implement new features while maintaining existing functionality. The role offers a blend of technical challenges in web development and specialized GIS applications.
