Description For Software Engineer

This role combines software engineering with geospatial technology expertise, focusing on SharePoint development and administration within secure government environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with SharePoint administration and development, combined with knowledge of geospatial extensions and applications like MAPINFO and ESRI Arc suite. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving SharePoint sites, managing security permissions, and ensuring optimal site performance. Responsibilities For Software Engineer

  • Administer, maintain, develop, and implement improvements to SharePoint sites and sub sites
  • Maintain and augment web sites including daily updates to application functionality
  • Perform SharePoint Site Collection Services
  • Set permissions of site collections in accordance with SharePoint Security Model
  • Create and modify site templates, including development of Style Sheets
  • Monitor SharePoint sizing and usage limitations
  • Submit requirements within Service+ for infrastructure provisioning

  • Experience with geospatial extensions and relevant application software (MAPINFO and/or ESRI Arc suite)
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic, .NET architectural, and modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years' experience
  • TS/SCI with CI-Poly security clearance
  • US Citizenship
