High Art is seeking a Structure Engineer to join their team in Cairo, Egypt. This role combines structural engineering expertise with project coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating structural designs, managing project activities, and ensuring successful project delivery. Responsibilities For Structure Engineer
- Review the structural design drawings received from the structural consultant
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural drawings & MEP drawings
- Coordinate project management activities with MTP drawings, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve
- Prepare BOQ and quantity survey
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Oversee project procurement management
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to address any structural concerns or modifications during the construction phase
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
Requirements For Structure Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Proficient in the use of structural analysis and design software
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with project management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software is preferred
