Lead Engineer - AI

HighLevel is seeking a Lead Engineer - AI to join their team. This role involves building cutting-edge, AI-powered products and mentoring or leading a team of engineers. The focus areas include Conversations AI, Workflows AI, Voice AI, Support AI, and Platform AI.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop REST APIs following REST philosophy, ensuring they are secure, reusable, testable, and efficient
• Design database collection schemas and write efficient queries
• Develop user-facing features and integrate with REST APIs
• Maintain consistency with design principles and reuse components
• Communicate effectively with team members, product team, and support team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Expertise with large scale Conversation Agents and Response Evaluations
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Vue.js (or React/Angular)
• Experience working with production-grade applications with significant usage
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Expertise with MongoDB
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
