HighLevel is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their Generative AI teams. This role involves inspiring and managing a team of engineers, driving performance and innovation, developing robust AI-driven products, and overseeing strategic project management.
The position focuses on several AI-specific areas:
Conversations AI: Developing AI solutions for appointment booking, forms filling, sales, and intent recognition, ensuring seamless integration and interaction with users through natural language processing and understanding.
Workflows AI: Creating and optimizing AI-powered workflows to automate and streamline business processes.
Voice AI: Focusing on VOIP technology with an emphasis on low latency and high-quality voice interactions, and fine-tuning voice models for clarity, accuracy, and naturalness in various applications.
Support AI: Integrating AI solutions with FreshDesk and ClickUp to enhance customer support and ticketing systems, developing tools for automated response generation, issue resolution, and workflow management.
Platform AI: Overseeing AI training, billing, content generation, funnels, image processing, and model evaluations, ensuring scalable and efficient AI models that meet diverse platform needs and user demands.
The ideal candidate should have expertise with large-scale Conversation Agents and Response Evaluations, extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and Vue.js (or React/Angular), and experience scaling services to at least 200k+ MAUs. They should possess strong people, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities include mentoring and coaching team members, performing evaluations, planning for fast and flexible delivery, increasing efficiency through patterns, frameworks, and processes, improving product and engineering quality, helping drive product strategy, and designing flexible architecture for evolving business needs.
