This role focuses on developing and scaling backend services that power real-time analytics experiences for customers' go-to-market performance. The position offers competitive compensation between $166,000 - $272,000, plus stock options and additional benefits. Located in Seattle with a hybrid work arrangement, this role provides an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge backend analytics technologies while contributing to a product that serves thousands of customers.
Responsibilities For Sr. Frontend Engineer, Interact Analytics Experiences (Platform/In-App)
- Design and evolve key backend components including database/query optimizations, backend API scalability, and efficient query execution
- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and well-governed backend services
- Guide the querying and processing of analytics data
- Improve RBAC framework to ensure secure and compliant access to analytics data
- Establish and advocate for best practices in query optimization
- Work closely with Product, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers
- Define and drive SLAs, availability, and performance objectives
Requirements For Sr. Frontend Engineer, Interact Analytics Experiences (Platform/In-App)
- 7+ years in software engineering with strong experience in backend systems, query engines, and analytics platforms
- Hands-on experience with OLAP databases, query transpilation, and optimizing query performance
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with deep expertise in SQL, query optimization, and backend API development
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform/Pulumi for analytics services and backend scalability
- Experience designing scalable analytics-serving platforms and backend query execution workflows
- Passion for solving complex backend challenges, ensuring low latency, and high availability
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams to drive backend improvements
