The position offers three potential career paths: DevSecOps Engineer focusing on security protocols and threat management, Data Platform DevOps Engineer handling scalable data infrastructure, or a broader Senior DevOps Engineer role managing various cloud environments and optimization tasks.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions, streamlining development processes, and working with cutting-edge technologies including Terraform, Vault, Kubernetes, and Docker. You'll use languages like Golang, Python, and bash to develop tools and APIs while having significant creative freedom and ownership over your projects.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of DevOps experience, strong programming skills, and deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Building scalable and resilient infrastructure for the Hippo platform
- Providing tools, metrics, CI/CD processes, and self-service tools to improve developer productivity
- Working with various cloud providers, databases, and open-source tools
- Building and scaling tools, APIs, and serverless functions using Golang, Python, and bash
- Taking ownership and responsibility for projects
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering
- Skilled in Golang, Python, or Bash
- Understanding of AWS VPC or GCP networking concepts
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD systems, and Terraform
- Experience with logging and metrics systems
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
- Availability in the afternoons for US collaboration
