Key responsibilities include interfacing with various teams to build roadmaps, mentoring engineers, participating in technical design and architecture, and driving product milestones.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Manager
- Interface with product management, engineering, devops, labeling, and sales teams to build roadmap
- Lead a team of machine learning engineers and provide mentorship
- Participate in products technical design and architecture
- Participate in full development cycle: data collection, labeling, model development, experimentation, training, testing, and deployment
- Drive delivery for product milestones and ensure quality metrics are achieved
- Implement and manage security protocols
- Own and manage risk and security of the business function
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data handling
- Adhere to policies for protection of information assets
- Report security violations or breaches to appropriate authority
Requirements For Machine Learning Manager
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or similar technical field
- 4+ years experience as a machine learning engineer
- Experience in training large deep learning models and working with real world data
- Knowledgeable in at least one focus area of machine learning (computer vision, audio, or NLP)
- 2+ years experience managing machine learning teams
- Ability to understand and make well-reasoned tradeoffs in designing features
- Management skills: ability to set roadmap and goals, delegate, mentor, and deliver results
- Experience interviewing engineers and collaborating with recruiting teams
- Experience collaborating with product managers and labeling team in delivering model improvements
