Ruby on Rails Senior Software Engineer/Developer

Currently profitable and working with 20 major estate agents and law firms in the UK, Homey aims to eliminate the stress of dealing with multiple parties and outdated software systems.

The platform integrates services from estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors, lenders, and surveyors into a single, streamlined solution. As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you'll be part of a closely-knit team of A+ players, working on a platform that impacts 1,500 monthly users.

The tech stack includes Ruby, Rails 7, PostgreSQL, Hotwire, Tailwind, RSpec, and Heroku. You'll be responsible for the agile development of iterative features, working closely with the Product and Design teams. The role offers competitive compensation (£80-110k) with the flexibility to take part of your package as share options.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of Ruby engineering experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and maintains a positive attitude. While not required, experience with JavaScript and personal coding projects are appreciated.
