Honeycomb is building a service to help engineering teams deeply explore and understand their production systems in real time. As a Product Engineer on the Signals team, you'll join a growing product engineering team, working on features pivotal to the Honeycomb experience such as derived columns, SLOs, and Triggers.
The role involves:
- Building and delivering quality software across the full application stack, primarily in Typescript/React and Go.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners in design and product.
- Supporting software/systems in production, including participating in an on-call rotation.
- Learning new ways to solve complex problems as the company and product grow.
Key requirements:
- Experience working across an application stack, with modern frontend and backend languages.
- Comfortable supporting production software and investigating issues in deployed code.
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexible mindset to adapt to changing strategies or roadmaps.
- Ability to balance engineering investment with customer value.
