Responsibilities For Software Engineer III - SSIS and SSRS Developer

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS
  • Create data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from various data sources
  • Optimize ETL performance and implement error-handling mechanisms
  • Develop SSIS packages for data migration, integration, and transformation
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SSRS
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Maintain and enhance existing SSRS reports
  • Implement automated scheduling and delivery of reports

Requirements For Software Engineer III - SSIS and SSRS Developer

  • 3-5+ years of experience in SSIS, SSRS and C# development
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization
  • Experience working with ETL processes, data warehouses
  • Familiarity with data modeling, relational database design
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of data modeling, star/snowflake schema preferred
  • Knowledge of how to create SSIS toolbox controls preferred
  • Background in Supplemental, Life, Group Insurance is a plus
