Description For Azure Automation Engineer

HSO is seeking an experienced Azure Automation Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions using Azure's advanced services, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices. Responsibilities For Azure Automation Engineer

  • Design, implement, and manage automation solutions leveraging Azure's advanced services
  • Design and implement automation solutions using Azure DevOps, GitHub, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform)
  • Configure and manage Azure Resource Manager to deploy and manage Azure resources
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Monitor existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams
  • Enhance existing automation frameworks

Requirements For Azure Automation Engineer

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or system automation roles
  • Strong understanding of Azure core services
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates and Bicep
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles
  • Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in customer-facing consulting roles
