HSO is seeking an experienced Azure Automation Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions using Azure's advanced services, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, bringing expertise in Azure services, PowerShell scripting, and DevOps practices. You'll work closely with development, operations, and security teams to optimize workflows and enhance scalability. Responsibilities For Azure Automation Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage automation solutions leveraging Azure's advanced services
- Design and implement automation solutions using Azure DevOps, GitHub, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform)
- Configure and manage Azure Resource Manager to deploy and manage Azure resources
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Monitor existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams
- Enhance existing automation frameworks
Requirements For Azure Automation Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or system automation roles
- Strong understanding of Azure core services
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates and Bicep
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles
- Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer-facing consulting roles
