Description For Azure Data Engineer

HSO is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join their team. As a Gold Certified Microsoft partner and part of the Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle, HSO helps companies modernize business operations, adopt intelligent automation, and deliver real-time performance insights. The Azure Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing data platforms, designing efficient pipelines to extract data from various source systems, developing data quality procedures, implementing security measures, and staying up-to-date with the latest Azure and Python technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and programming languages such as Python and SQL. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects for leading corporations, collaborate with international teams, and benefit from a comprehensive learning and development program including access to Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities For Azure Data Engineer

  • Develop and implement data platforms
  • Design and build efficient pipelines for data extraction from various source systems
  • Develop data quality and validation procedures
  • Implement data security and privacy measures
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure and Python technologies
  • Learn and pass relevant Microsoft exams (DP-203, DP-600)

Requirements For Azure Data Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Database structures, Data Modelling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
  • Project experience in Azure with ETL/ELT tools (Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks)
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps principles
  • In-depth knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Experience with data integration and transformation techniques (Apache Spark or Databricks)
  • Strong command of English language
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
