Hudl is seeking a BSP/Firmware Engineer to join their team developing human performance products (WIMU). These products include wearable trackers, smart docking stations, and local positioning system antennas that capture athlete performance and positioning data. The role involves turning early prototypes into fully functioning devices, working on low-level components, and delivering user value. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in building and supporting board support packages for embedded systems, interfacing with sensors, and knowledge of communication protocols. - Proactively create tickets for the team's backlog
Requirements For Firmware Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in building, supporting, and extending board support packages (BSPs) for embedded systems
- Experience interfacing with sensors (IMUs, magnetometers, GPS)
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, USB)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to experiment and test new ideas with components and modules
