Senior Software Engineer

Hudl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their first product teams in Mumbai. This role involves improving the operations of their internal team of sports analysts across Hudl Assist, Wyscout, InStat, and Volleymetrics products. These products are used by thousands of teams worldwide, from youth clubs to professionals.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work on projects such as:

• Improving tools for training sports analysts
• Instrumenting processes for continuous improvement of operations
• Iterating on manual data collection workflows to enhance speed and accuracy

You'll collaborate with a cross-functional, global team, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, Design, and Scrum disciplines. The role requires rapid iteration, deploying changes to the product hundreds of times a day. You'll have the opportunity to propose solutions to ambiguous technical problems and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.

This role requires 5 days in the office per week in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of commercial experience building mature, full-stack web applications, be comfortable with uncertainty, have strong English language skills, and be flexible with their schedule to collaborate across time zones.
