IT Operations Engineer

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join their Information Technology team. This role involves providing technical support to HRTers globally, collaborating with IT management on projects, meeting SLAs, and enhancing internal processes. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and maintain a positive attitude with a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for end-user hardware, software, and related issues
• Escalate issues to appropriate sub-teams efficiently using approved tools
• Assist in administering tech stack platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, O365, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
• Collaborate with Technical Procurement team for asset tracking and maintenance
• Manage user account and hardware onboarding process for assigned region
• Create and update documentation for internal and external resources
• Participate in on-call IT support rotation, including weekends

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT support experience in high-growth tech-centric companies
• Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux, and Windows
• Experience with SaaS tools like Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and Zoom
• Familiarity with code revision control (Git) and supporting developers using CI/CD tooling
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and detect trends
• Positive attitude and customer success-oriented mindset
