Join Hyperconnect's MG AI team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of developing AI solutions for Match Group's portfolio of products including Tinder and Hinge. The role combines cutting-edge research with practical implementation, focusing on natural language processing, image analysis, and recommendation systems. You'll work with state-of-the-art infrastructure including a DGX-A100 cluster with 160 GPUs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI innovations to life.
The team has a strong track record of publishing research in top-tier conferences like ICCV, EMNLP, and CVPR, demonstrating our commitment to advancing the field while solving real-world problems. You'll be involved in the complete ML lifecycle, from problem definition and research to deployment and monitoring, working on challenges like multi-modal data processing, domain adaptation, and large language model applications.
As a senior engineer, you'll contribute to building AI flywheels that continuously improve our systems, tackle complex challenges in mobile and server environments, and help shape the future of social discovery platforms. The role offers a unique blend of research freedom and practical impact, supported by extensive computing resources and a collaborative environment with backend, frontend, DevOps engineers, and data analysts.
The position requires strong technical expertise in AI/ML, proven experience in productionizing AI solutions, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities For Sr. Machine Learning Engineer
- Research and improve cutting-edge AI models
- Optimize inference performance considering time/space complexity
- Identify and define real service problems
- Implement and deploy state-of-the-art models
- Monitor and continuously improve AI models
- Collaborate with backend/frontend/DevOps engineers, data analysts, and PMs
- Work on various AI domains including NLP, image analysis, and recommendation systems
Requirements For Sr. Machine Learning Engineer
- 3+ years of project experience with deep knowledge in at least one AI/ML domain
- Experience in integrating AI technology into services and improving key metrics
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to solve engineering constraints using AI modeling and software engineering
- Capability to maintain team's technical competitiveness through continuous learning
- Experience in helping other ML engineers grow or having relevant capabilities
- Fluent in Korean communication
