hyperexponential is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Warsaw office. The Security team's mission is crucial: safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of customer data and hx Renew's systems.
The position requires a seasoned security professional with at least 3 years of IT security experience and strong AWS expertise. You'll be responsible for implementing and improving DevSecOps processes, managing security controls in multi-account environments, and implementing comprehensive threat detection and prevention policies. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure security-by-design principles are followed.

You'll be involved in regular hackathons and push technological boundaries while working on complex security challenges. Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer (Warsaw)
- Improve and implement DevSecOps processes
- Implement security controls in multi-account environments
- Implement compliance, vulnerability, and threat detection/prevention policies across cloud environments
- Fine-tune and automate threat policies for workload, container and cloud products
- Provide expert guidance on complex cloud security challenges
- Work with engineering teams to help architect and implement secure solutions
- Conduct and review internal automated security testing results
- Manage security aspects of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents
- Develop and implement organization-wide security policies
- Evaluating security solutions and supporting their implementation
Requirements For Senior Security Engineer (Warsaw)
- At least 3+ years IT security experience
- At least 2+ years of experience in AWS and building robust infrastructure
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash etc)
- Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (bonus)
- Experience creating security processes within a scaling SaaS or Fintech company (bonus)
