Software Engineer - Kotlin/Python (Warsaw)

hyperexponential is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Model Development Experience (MDX) Team in Warsaw. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to enhance its systems for future scalability. The MDX Team's mission is to empower customers to build and iterate their models faster and easier, with advanced tooling for novel insights and assistance.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a creative and innovative environment where technological boundaries are pushed. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand problems and develop solutions, writing high-quality code, driving technical standards, and continually learning and improving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers
• Writing high-quality, well-structured code
• Driving technical standards and strategy
• Participating in hackathons and experimenting with new technologies
• Helping to evolve ways of working as the company grows
• Coordinating with other engineering teams
• Supporting the product in production through an on-call rota

Required skills and experience:

• Experience with Kotlin/JVM technologies, Spring, and Hibernate
• Understanding of Version Control Systems
• Basic knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript (preferred)
• Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles
• Experience with full product development lifecycle

The interview process consists of an initial call with the Talent team, followed by a Manager Interview, Skills Interview, and Values Interview.
