Description For QA Engineer

ICEYE, the global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Delivery and Support team in Espoo, Finland. With over 600 employees from 60 countries, ICEYE operates the world's largest SAR constellation for Earth Observation and persistent monitoring.

As a QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring software quality for mission customers and supplier deliverables. You'll work with a diverse team of experts across engineering, software development, and radar technology, collaborating with QAs, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and client representatives.

Your responsibilities will include executing end-to-end test scenarios, developing test plans, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring quality standards are met. You'll work with RESTful APIs, UI testing, and various testing methodologies while using tools like Jira in Linux/Unix environments.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of QA experience, strong communication skills, and technical expertise in API and UI testing. Experience with automation tools like Selenium and Playwright, plus knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS environments would be advantageous.

  • Support development teams in issue reproduction and root cause analysis

Requirements For QA Engineer

Linux

  • Solid understanding of QA principles and practices (3-5 years experience)
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and UI testing
  • Good understanding of different testing techniques and methodologies
  • Experience in creating and executing requirement-based and product-based manual test cases
  • Experience with Linux/Unix OS platforms
  • Experience with working in Jira or any other test management tool
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to occasionally travel to customer sites
