ICEYE is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their Space Systems team. The role involves developing mixed-signal electronics for satellites, tackling challenges in new space engineering, and pushing the boundaries of small sensing satellites. Key responsibilities include designing new generation satellites, ensuring high quality throughout development, documenting designs, conducting tests at board and system levels, cooperating with other departments, and performing root cause analysis for issues on the ground or in orbit. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in electrical engineering, 5+ years of experience, strong board-level design skills, and proficiency in tools like Altium Designer. Responsibilities For Senior Electronics Engineer
- Support the company's growth in an exciting new project
- Work closely with engineers from other domains to design a new generation of satellites
- Develop mixed-signal electronics for satellites
- Ensure high quality throughout the development process
- Document designs clearly
- Test designs at board level and conduct qualification tests at system level
- Cooperate with other departments during design and manufacturing phases
- Conduct root cause analysis for issues on the ground or in orbit
Requirements For Senior Electronics Engineer
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in electronics engineering
- Strong experience in board-level design, including schematics, PCB layout, simulations, PCB technologies, etc.
- Experience in PCB design with Altium Designer or a similar electronics design (EDA) tool
- Knowledge of lab measurements at board and system levels
- Proficient problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis on failures
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and as a cooperative team player
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Willingness to be involved in the whole life cycle of the satellite
