Mechanical Engineer

IDEO Play Lab is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative toy invention team. This remote-eligible contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading design firm that partners with major toy manufacturers like Mattel, Hasbro, Fisher Price, Spinmaster, and Moose.

The role focuses on creating innovative, fun, and engaging products with a special emphasis on toys for children aged 0-8. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for building one-off mechanical prototypes to impress toy manufacturer clients, working alongside an experienced team of designers, inventors, and engineers.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $70,000 to $125,000 USD annually, with the final offer depending on experience, expertise, and contract duration. IDEO is committed to equitable pay regardless of gender identity or cultural background.
