As a Machine Learning Engineer at Ideogram, you'll be at the forefront of AI innovation, working on complex challenges that push the boundaries of what's possible in generative AI. You'll collaborate directly with a founding team of world-renowned AI experts, including Jonathan Ho, William Chan, Chitwan Saharia, and Mohammad Norouzi, who have led transformative AI projects at prestigious institutions like Google Brain, UC Berkeley, CMU, and the University of Toronto.
Your role will involve building and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models at scale, working with a creative and ambitious team of engineers and researchers. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects similar to the team's previous work, which includes Imagen (Google's text-to-image system), Imagen Video, Denoising Diffusion Models, and other advanced AI applications.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in developing machine learning models using frameworks like JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. You should be comfortable implementing complex ML foundations from scratch, have a track record in machine learning innovation, and possess an end-to-end understanding of generative media applications. Your ability to debug and iteratively improve model quality and performance will be crucial.
