ikeja is seeking a Mid-Level IT Support Engineer to join their IT department in Midrand, South Africa. Responsibilities For IT Support Engineer

  • Provide end-user support across hardware, software, and systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware, networking, connectivity, and application issues
  • Design and implement IT processes and SOPs
  • Maintain documentation and improve IT policies
  • Set up and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and network security
  • Manage user accounts and permissions

  • Regular reporting on IT incidents

Requirements For IT Support Engineer

Linux
  • IT-related diploma or degree (Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration)
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications are advantageous
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support and operations
  • Experience supporting users and infrastructure
  • Experience setting up IT processes and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware and systems support
  • Experience with networking (routing, switching, IP addressing)
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud-based tools
  • Understanding of security best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
