iKnowHow S.A. is a leading Software & Robotics Solutions company operating internationally, experiencing significant growth with an 80% team expansion and recent relocation to a new modern office. We're seeking a Mid/Senior Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Athens, Greece.

The role focuses on developing and prototyping innovative automated robotic systems for our clients. You'll be responsible for software development and integration, simulation testing using Gazebo and ROS1/ROS2, and implementing sophisticated motion planning and control algorithms for robotic arms and autonomous mobile robots.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of robotics software engineering experience, with strong programming skills in Python and/or C++. You should have hands-on experience with ROS1/ROS2, Gazebo, and be familiar with version control using Git and containerization with Docker.

Responsibilities For Mid/Senior Robotics Engineer

  • Develop and integrate software for robotic systems
  • Use Gazebo and ROS1/ROS2 for simulation and testing
  • Design and implement motion planning and control algorithms for multi-DOF robotic arms and autonomous mobile robots
  • Contribute to codebase using Git and GitHub

Requirements For Mid/Senior Robotics Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years in robotics software engineering
  • Proficient in Python and/or C++
  • Experience with ROS1/ROS2 and Gazebo
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub and Docker
  • Knowledge of motion planning, control for multi-DOF manipulators, and navigation/path planning
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Collaborative mindset
