Associate BI Engineer

At impact.com, we're seeking an Associate BI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As part of our Business Intelligence team, you'll play a crucial role in developing SQL-based reporting features, performing data assurance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. You'll gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, software design patterns, and testing practices while working on impactful projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining SQL-based reporting features
• Collaborating with a distributed team on quarterly objectives
• Writing and maintaining documentation
• Learning impact.com's reporting tools and databases
• Supporting software testing and quality assurance processes

We're looking for candidates with:

• 0+ years of SQL experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Initiative, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Desire to work with Big Data technologies
