Senior DevOps Engineer

At impact.com, we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and advancing automated, containerized cloud application platforms, implementing DevOps processes, and serving as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting complex multi-tier architecture issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux operating systems, containerization technologies, and public cloud resources. They will lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, drive automation efforts, and provide mentorship to junior team members. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on security and ethical leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies within the DevOps squad
• Drive automation of complex tasks across the software development lifecycle
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members
• Implement robust software testing and quality assurance processes
• Lead incident management efforts and ensure system stability and scalability
• Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning
• Implement cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in coding and scripting (Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with public cloud resources (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong focus on security and adherence to NIST and CIS standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
